Travel grants

Only online applications will be considered. The online  system is available as of February 2019.

The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) is pleased to offer a travel grant program for ISN members from low income countries and lower middle income countries wishing in the ISN Frontiers meeting on “Cardio-Pulmonary-Renal interactions and their interdependence in disease”, held October 3-6, 2019 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Only ISN members can take part in the travel grant program. If you are not an ISN member, please take advantage of our special combined offer that includes ISN membership and registration for Frontiers meeting.

Each grant includes:

1. Registration to the meeting
2. A contribution (not a full reimbursement) to travel and accommodation depending on the region you are located in.

More detailed information about contributions will be available in February 2019.

Please be aware that payment can only be made by bank transfer after the meeting.
The amount of the grant is calculated to cover travel and accommodation. The recipient will make his own travel and accommodation arrangements.

How to apply

The travel grant program is restricted to ISN members residing in low-income countries and lower-middle-income countries. Exceptions are made for current ISN fellows who are training in developed countries and ISN Sister Renal Centers (SRC) Program participants from supporting centers.

We give priority to:

  • Nephrologists presenting an approved abstract at Frontiers meeting
  • Nephrologists of 40 years and younger (born in 1979 and after)
  • Past and present ISN fellows and SRC participants.

Remember: Please be aware if you have benefitted from three travel grants in the past, you will no longer be considered for the travel grant program.
