Travel grants

Online application is now closed. Travel grants results will be announced on June 18.  

The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) is pleased to offer a travel grant program for ISN members from low income countries and lower middle income countries wishing in the ISN Frontiers meeting on “Cardio-Pulmonary-Renal interactions and their interdependence in disease”, held October 3-6, 2019 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Key Dates:

  • June 3: deadline to submit an application
  • June 18: Travel grants results announcement


The ISN Frontiers Meeting travel grant program is reserved to ISN Full members, ISN Joint Group members and ISN Trainees residing in  low income countries and lower middle income countriesExceptions are made for current ISN fellows who are training in developed countries and ISN Sister Renal Centers (SRC) Program participants from supporting centers.

We give priority to:

  • Nephrologists presenting an approved abstract at the ISN Frontiers Meeting
  • Nephrologists of 40 years and younger (born in 1979 and after)
  • Past and present ISN fellows and SRC participants.

Remember: Please be aware if you have benefitted from three travel grants in the past, you will no longer be considered for the travel. 

Each grant includes:

1. Registration to the meeting
2. A contribution (not a full reimbursement) to travel and accommodation depending on the region you are resident in.
It is the sole responsibility of the travel grant recipients to book travel and accommodation. Please be aware that payment can only be made by bank transfer after the meeting.
